During our Annual Save R Streets Tournament & Community Day
For 10 years, 10 friends have come together to raise awareness about community violence by hosting the largest two day Basketball Tournament and peace event in the inner-city of Boston, The Save R Streets Silence the Violence Weekend
For 10 years, we have had 30+ games for all ages with over 500 players each year. Fed an entire park of over 1500 attendees, for free. We have had multiple bounce houses, face painters, balloon artists, activities and more! We have also honored 5 community members every year for doing the tireless work to bring about Peace to Boston streets.
Each year we also honor our lost community members. In the past year we have lost many young people in the City of Boston and are hoping to have our goal of silencing the violence go city-wide and all summer long.
We hope that you can help us raise the necessary funds, as the event continues to grow.
Thank you in advance to all of our repeat donors! We have been able to raise over $75,000 over the past nine years to ensure this event is a huge success because of you. This year for our 10th Anniversary we want to raise $10,000 to support our largest Peace Weekend ever.
